Hospitality brand Zostel has launched Zo Selections, a premium hospitality vertical under its parent company Zo World, with its first property opening in Jaipur. The property offers private rooms, jacuzzi suites, common spaces and workstations.
Founded in 2013, Zostel has grown from a 24-bed hostel in Jodhpur to a network of around 5,000 beds across India, Nepal and Thailand. The company said it has recorded more than 5 million journeys across its properties.
Zo Selections targets travellers who have moved beyond hostel dorms but continue to seek social experiences during their stays. The Jaipur property features bonfires, workshops, sundowners and an in-house restaurant, Amaano, which serves Rajasthani cuisine.
The new vertical expands Zostel’s hospitality portfolio, which includes Zostel Plus, Zostel Homes and Zo House. The company plans to open its next Zo Selections property in Gokarna, followed by locations in Mussoorie, Pench and Lonavla.
The launch comes as Zo World expands its hospitality network. Zostel recently opened its 100th property and its first overseas location in Phuket, while the group has also expanded into Europe through Safestay. Zo World is targeting 10,000 beds as it enters the premium hospitality segment.
