Severity: Moderate. Certainty: Observed.
Thursday into the weekend, a series of low pressure systems will
move toward Southeast Alaska, bringing widespread moderate to heavy
rainfall and gale force winds to the Gulf. Strong winds are also
expected for coastal and southern panhandle communities. While the
exact timing and impacts of the system are still being refined,
confidence is continuing to increase that this will be a more
impactful system for Southeast Alaska.

Stay tuned to weather.gov/juneau as we continue to monitor the
developing situation and update our forecast.
