Info Edge, the parent company of Naukri, reported a 87.1% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 650 crore in Q2 FY27. Its consolidated revenue from operations also rose 12.2% to Rs 904 crore during the quarter, up from Rs 806 crore a year ago.
Info Edge’s bottom line was significantly boosted by other income of Rs 428 crore in Q2 FY27, which contributed significantly to its consolidated profit of Rs 650 crore. Against revenue from operations of Rs 904 crore, the other income played a key role in driving profitability, which shows the contribution of returns from its financial investments alongside its core business operations.
The company’s total expenses increased 4.1% to Rs 587 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 564 crore a year ago. The slower growth in expenses compared to revenue helped the company improve its profitability during the quarter.
On a standalone basis, Info Edge’s revenue from operations grew 12.8% to Rs 842 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 746 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
On a consolidated basis, its recruitment business, which operates through Naukri, remained the largest revenue contributor, with revenue rising to Rs 653 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 582 crore a year ago.
Its real estate platform 99acres reported revenue of Rs 134 crore during the quarter. Meanwhile, the company’s other businesses, including Jeevansathi and Shiksha, reported combined revenue of Rs 116 crore, compared to Rs 109 crore in the year-ago period.
Moreover, Info Edge’s board declared an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share for FY27. The record date has been set as November 6, 2026, and the dividend will be paid on or after November 23.
According to a separate filing, Info Edge has approved a fresh investment of Rs 150 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary Redstart Labs (India) Ltd. The investment will be made in cash across one or more tranches over the next 18 months to meet working capital requirements, fund new technology investments and cover general corporate needs.
Info Edge’s shares were trading at Rs 1,254 as of 12:13 PM, up 3.3% for the day, giving the company a market capitalisation of Rs 81,279 crore.
