Reliance Industries and Jio Platforms were among the key results to watch, alongside Nifty 50 constituents such as Sun Pharma and Bharat Electronics. Max Healthcare also announced its Q2 numbers.
In the broader market, results from companies including Aarti Industries, Aditya Birla Capital, Ajanta Pharma, Bank of Baroda, Dixon Technologies, Delhivery, Engineers India, GE Vernova T&D, Indian Oil Corporation, LIC Housing Finance, Motherson Sumi Wiring, Navin Fluorine, Phoenix Mills, Syrma SGS, Varun Beverages, Vinati Organics and Welspun Living were also part of today's earnings slate.
IOC reported a net profit of ₹21,630 crore for the second quarter, compared with a loss of ₹2,661 crore in the previous quarter while SJVN reported a sharp increase in its second-quarter performance, with net profit rising to ₹657.4 crore from ₹308 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The biggest result reaction today comes from Suzlon Energy and IEX, while Asian Paints, Coal India, IndiGo, Motilal Oswal, Praj Industries, Welspun Corp, Strides Pharma, Firstsource Solutions among others also reacted to their numbers today.
Brokerages have cut their price targets on Suzlon after its results.
