## extract

Marine Weather Statement — Coastal Waters from Point Pinos to Point Piedras Blancas California out to 10 nm
Severity: Minor. Certainty: Observed.
Smoke from the Timber Fire along the Big Sur coastline is getting
transported and trapped south of Point Sur as seen on satellite
and cameras. As a result, reductions to visibility may occur,
particularly during the overnight hours as the marine inversion
settles in. Visibility may drop as low as 2 statute miles and
gradually improve by late Sunday morning.
