## extract

Special Weather Statement — Rockingham; Caswell; Franklin; Henry; Pittsylvania; Halifax
Severity: Moderate. Certainty: Observed.
Expect a couple rounds of showers and a few thunderstorms through
11pm. Rainfall rates of 1 to 3 inches an hour will lead to ponding
of water on the roadways, and some poor drainage flooding
especially in urban areas. Those traveling should be alert to
ponded water and slow down to avoid hydroplaning.
