Info Edge, the parent company of Naukri, has announced a leadership reshuffle, appointing Naresh Chand Gupta, former Managing Director of Adobe Systems India, as an independent director and Himanshu Agarwal as its new chief financial officer (CFO).
The former Adobe India MD will join Info Edge’s board from October 1 for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. He currently works with Accuracap Technologies and Accuracap Consultancy Services and serves as an independent director on the boards of eClerx Services and NoPaperForms. He had earlier served as an independent director at Info Edge until March 2023.
Meanwhile, Agarwal will take charge as CFO from September 17 and will also join the board as an additional director. He is set to become a whole-time director and CFO, subject to the required approvals.
Agarwal brings over three decades of experience across finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and business transformation at companies in India and overseas.
The leadership change will also see Ambarish Raghuvanshi step down as Info Edge’s interim CFO. Raghuvanshi, who has held the role since November 2025, will conclude his tenure on September 16.
However, he will continue to be associated with the company as a finance advisor until October 31 and will support the transition and handover to Agarwal.
Info Edge has also inducted Agarwal into its Risk Management Committee and Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting Committee.
The company said the leadership changes will strengthen its finance and leadership capabilities as it continues to focus on its internet businesses and technology investments.
