Severity: Severe. Certainty: Possible.
A trough moving over the state is expected to continue to bring
abundant tropical moisture to the area through tonight. Heavy rain
and isolated thunderstorms are expected to produce flash flooding
that may impact areas across Oahu through the Big Island.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, Kahoolawe and The Big Island.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to the overflow of
streams and drainages. Roads in several areas may be closed, along
with property damage in urban or low lying spots due to runoff.
Landslides may also occur in areas with steep terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms with intense rain rates
may develop at any time through tonight as a trough continues
moving over the state. While the greatest flood threat will be
focused over Oahu and Maui County, all islands are at risk.
