* WHAT...For the Dense Smoke Advisory, dense smoke will reduce
visibility to less than one nautical mile. For the Small Craft
Advisory, southwest winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
and waves 1 to 3 ft expected. For the Gale Watch, northwest
winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 5 to 8 ft
possible.

* WHERE...Point Isabelle to Lower Entrance of Portage Canal MI,
Lower Entrance of Portage Canal To Huron Islands MI Including
Keweenaw and Huron Bays and Huron Islands to Marquette MI.

* WHEN...For the Dense Smoke Advisory, until 8 AM EDT this
morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 AM EDT Tuesday.
For the Gale Watch, from Tuesday morning through late Tuesday
night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility
will make navigation difficult.
