Areas of up to 2 inches of rainfall are expected from the ongoing
event which may cause significant rises in the smaller headwater
streams that feed the Koyukuk and Middle Yukon Rivers. As mainstem
rivers are currently low, there are no concerns for the larger rivers
in the area.

Rainfall rates are expected to decrease by Tuesday afternoon.
