BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle’s shares hit the 20% upper circuit at Rs 732.45 on Tuesday after the company posted its third consecutive profitable quarter in Q1 FY27, with strong earnings lifting investor sentiment.
The Bengaluru-based omnichannel jewellery retailer posted a 49% year-on-year increase in operating revenue to Rs 737 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to Rs 493 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The company also reported a profit of Rs 6 crore during the quarter against a loss of Rs 35 crore in Q1 FY26.
Bluestone achieved a key milestone in FY26 when it reported its first ever profitable quarter in Q3 FY26 with a Rs 69 crore profit. The company followed with a profit of Rs 31 crore in Q4 FY26.
BlueStone’s operating performance improved sharply during the quarter. Reported EBITDA nearly doubled to Rs 110 crore from Rs 57 crore a year ago, while EBITDA margin expanded to 15%.
Founded in 2011, BlueStone is an omnichannel jewellery brand that offers gold and diamond jewellery, including rings, pendants, chains, and earrings, through its retail stores and online platform.
The company claims to be India’s second-largest digital-first omnichannel jewellery brand and expanded its retail footprint by adding 12 stores during Q1 FY27, taking its network to 352 stores across 139 cities. BlueStone now services over 12,660 PIN codes, with nearly half of its stores located in Tier II and Tier III markets.
The sharp rise in BlueStone’s share price reflects investor optimism around the company’s profitable growth, improving unit economics, strong same-store sales growth and continued expansion in both metro and non-metro markets.
BlueStone, which listed on the stock exchanges in August last year, received a lukewarm response from investors, debuting at Rs 510 per share, a 1.3% discount to its issue price of Rs 517. However, the stock has since gained more than 41%.
