## extract

Small Craft Advisory — Yap Coastal Waters
Severity: Minor. Certainty: Likely.
* WHAT...WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
and seas 7 to 10 feet.

* WHERE...Yap Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM ChST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...As Typhoon Champi moves west through the
Philippine Sea, it will help to generate a strong monsoon surge
across Yap. Champi will also generate a large northwest swell that
will interact with a secondary southwest to west swell and large
wind waves to produce seas around 10 feet. As Champi moves far
enough west, seas and winds will fall below Small Craft Advisory
levels.
