As HealthKart reportedly gears up for its IPO, the health supplement brand appears to be building the financial profile investors look for in a public market candidate: strong revenue growth, scale and sustained profitability. The company crossed the Rs 2,000 crore revenue mark in FY26, while its profit before tax increased 30% during the year.
HealthKart’s revenue from operations rose 56.2% to Rs 2,052 crore in FY26 from Rs 1,313 crore in FY25, according to its consolidated annual statements sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
The company owns and operates a portfolio of nutrition and wellness brands, including MuscleBlaze, The Protein Zone, TrueBasics, HK Vitals, bGreen, Nouriza and Gritzo.
Sales of products remained the main revenue driver, accounting for nearly 99% of operating revenue. Product sales increased 59.2% to Rs 2,033 crore in FY26 from Rs 1,279 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company also earns revenue from services and other activities. Including other income of Rs 54 crore, its total income rose to Rs 2,106 crore in FY26 from Rs 1,368 crore in FY25.
The growth, however, came alongside a rise in expenses. Procurement remained HealthKart’s largest cost, increasing 71.9% to Rs 1,071 crore in FY26 from Rs 623 crore in FY25. The company also stepped up its spending on advertising and marketing, which rose 53.2% to Rs 403 crore during the year.
Employee benefits, commissions, freight and other overheads pushed total expenses up 55.7% to Rs 1,982 crore in FY26 from Rs 1,273 crore in FY25.
Despite the increase in costs, HealthKart’s revenue growth helped it improve its profitability. Its profit before tax, excluding exceptional items, rose by 30% to Rs 124 crore in FY26 from Rs 95 crore in FY25/
The combination of a larger revenue base and positive earnings could be an important part of HealthKart’s IPO story, particularly as investors assess whether consumer brands can sustain growth while managing marketing and procurement costs. The company’s ability to maintain profitability while expanding its portfolio will remain a key factor in assessing its financial performance.
HealthKart has raised around $382 million in funding to date, with Peak XV Partners, Temasek and Sofina among its investors. In December 2022, the company raised $135 million from Temasek and other investors.
