NTPC Green Energy reported a 56.2% rise in Q2 net profit to ₹137.5 crore, driven by a 53.2% increase in revenue. Discover the key financial highlights.
NTPC Green Energy reported a 56.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to ₹137.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with ₹88 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations rose 53.2% YoY to ₹938.2 crore in the second quarter of FY27, from ₹612.3 crore in the year-ago period, according to the company's exchange filing.
The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 56.6% to ₹830 crore, compared with ₹530 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
EBITDA margin improved to 88.4% in Q2 FY27 from 86.5% in Q2 FY26.
The company said revenue from operations for the September 2026 quarter included ₹3.16 crore earned from consultancy, project management and supervision fees. This compares with ₹7.15 crore in the year-ago quarter and ₹10.17 crore in the June 2026 quarter.
NTPC Green Energy is primarily engaged in power generation from renewable energy sources.
Shares of NTPC Green Energy ended 1.8% lower at ₹82.44 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday.
The stock has declined 11.8% over the past month and is down 13.5% so far in 2026.
