The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
Coastal and outer waters from Little Egg Inlet NJ to Fenwick Island
DE...

* Until 1130 PM EDT.

* At 1005 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from Buoy Ge to
near Great Egg Reef to 12 nm east of Atlantic City Reef, moving
south at 25 knots. This line of storms produced a 59 kt gust near
Surf City on Long Beach Island at 920 PM EDT.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, and small
hail.

SOURCE...Mesonet and radar.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural
damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in
suddenly higher waves.

Atlantic City, Five Fathoms Buoy, Buoy 2fb, Atlantic City Reef,
Buoy 4fb, Buoy 3fb, Great Egg Inlet, Deepwater Reef, Great Egg
Reef, Ocean City Reef, Wildwood, The Lump, 28-
Mile Wreck, Buoy Ge, Cape May Reef, Brigantine, Sea Isle City, Buoy
2ms, and Wildwood Reef.
