Wind Advisory — Kuskokwim Delta Coast and Nunivak Island; Interior Kuskokwim Delta
Severity: Moderate. Certainty: Likely.
* WHAT...Southwest winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
expected.

* WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta, including Kipnuk, Kwigillingok, and
Bethel.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 10 AM AKDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few
power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds will become strong and gusty
by this afternoon. Winds are expected to be strongest along the
coast, but gusts as high as 55 mph are expected to persist inland
up to Bethel. Strongest winds are expected late tonight, and winds
will begin to diminish through Monday morning. However, steady
southwesterly flow is expected to continue into midweek.
