Bengaluru-based construction materials quick commerce startup HomeRun has secured $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners.
The round also included participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium.
The fundraise follows the company's $6.6 million round earlier this year. HomeRun plans to use the fresh capital to expand into new markets while strengthening its supply chain, technology, and product portfolio.
Founded by Pukhraj Grewal, HomeRun delivers construction and interior materials to contractors and homeowners within 60 minutes. Its catalogue spans cement, plywood, wires, paints, hardware, and other building materials.
The startup says it has fulfilled more than 100,000 orders and recorded 8X growth over the past year. It currently operates in Bengaluru and has expanded across its core product categories.
Before founding HomeRun, Grewal co-founded interior contracting startup Tornado and construction labour marketplace Project Hero.
HomeRun is part of a growing category focused on the rapid delivery of construction materials. Last week, Bengaluru-based Fixxly raised $5.5 million in a seed round from Accel, Fireside Ventures, and Lightspeed India Partners. The company also competes with established building material retailers and startups such as IBO and Material Depot.
The investment also adds to Nexus Venture Partners' portfolio of early stage startups. Last year, the venture capital firm closed its eighth fund at $700 million to back companies across artificial intelligence, enterprise software, consumer, and fintech sectors in India and the US.
