China’s Data Regulator Plans Standards Push for Embodied AI
China’s data regulator said it plans to develop standards for embodied artificial intelligence and guide local authorities in related work, as demand for high-quality, diverse and large-scale datasets continues to grow.
The National Data Administration said it will strengthen planning and development guidance for the sector, while supporting companies in increasing investment in data resources. It said the measures are intended to better enable embodied AI development and promote the industry’s healthy growth, according to a statement posted on its website on Sunday.
