Quick-service burger chain Good Flippin’ Burgers is set to raise fresh funding after a gap of two and a half years, with Delhi-based S.R. Foundation investing Rs 55 crore at a 20% valuation premium. The company’s board passed a special resolution to issue 58,668 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares at an issue price of Rs 9,374.77 per share to raise fresh capital from S.R. Foundation, according to the company’s regulatory filings with the Registrar of companies. Managed by corporate trustee Rajiv Kumar Gupta, S.R. Foundation operates as a back-end investment vehicle and public charitable trust linked to the DS Group promoter network. In April 2024, the Mumbai-based company had raised Rs 30 crore (approximately $3.6 million) in an extended Series A round from existing investor Tanglin Venture Partners. As per Entrackr’s estimates, the company’s valuation will rise to around Rs 481 crore in the Series B from Rs 400 crore in the extended Series A round, where its valuation surged three-fold. The seven-year-old firm plans to use the fresh capital for growth, expansion, and general corporate purposes, as per filings. Good Flippin’ Burgers operates a chain of burger restaurants across India. Launched in Mumbai in 2019, the company has 67 outlets across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai. The QSR chain startup is yet to report its FY26 financials. Between FY23 and FY25, its revenue grew more than 3.4X to Rs 111 crore in FY25 from Rs 32.5 crore in FY23, while losses widened nearly 4.7X to Rs 18.32 crore from Rs 3.91 crore during the same period. The company competes in India’s burger QSR market with VC-backed homegrown chains such as Burger Singh and Biggies Burger, alongside regional players including Jumboking and The Burger Company, as well as cloud-kitchen player Burgerama, among several others.
