Hyderabad-based dairy brand Sid’s Farm has raised over Rs 81 crore ($8.4 million) in a pre-Series B funding round led by Omnivore, NSFO, Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures and LIO, along with a consortium of other investors. In June 2024, Sid's Farm raised $10 million in a Series A round co-led by Omnivore and Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO), after securing $1 million in a bridge round from its customers and their referrals in January 2023. The fresh capital will be used to strengthen its supply chain, expand manufacturing and distribution capabilities, invest in product innovation, deepen partnerships with dairy farmers and enter new markets. Founded in 2016 by Dr. Kishore Indukuri, Sid’s Farm operates a direct-to-consumer dairy business offering milk and other food products. The company claims each batch of milk undergoes testing across more than 45 quality and safety parameters, with over 10,000 quality tests conducted daily. Sid’s Farm currently works with more than 5,000 dairy farmers and provides support through fair procurement practices, veterinary services and farmer education programmes. The firm serves over 50,000 families across multiple cities and plans to use the latest funding to accelerate its next phase of growth while expanding access to its dairy products in new regions. It competes with Country Delight and Akshayakalpa Organic.
