DansUGC gives you 5,000+ ready-made clips from real creators, with B-roll starting at $11. Less time creating. More time growing. Happy Friday, Before we head into the weekend, here’s this week’s round-up of viral app hits. A few familiar formats are back with new hooks. Let’s begin. PushClock PushClock copied the viral alarm app format and reached 4.3M views with a close-up reaction and a boyfriend-prank hook: “My boyfriend changed my alarm so now I have to fly to turn it off ??” The creator opens with a crying selfie and shows how she turns the alarm off by playing the flying bird game. It’s the same alarm-frustration format we’ve covered before, with a new task driving the content. HealthMeter HealthMeter, a fitness and nutrition tracker reached 3.9M views and 107K bookmarks with one faceless slideshow: “DOs and DONTs to lose belly fat.” The app appears on the “DO” slide about tracking macros and progresss with HealthMeter showing on a hand-held iPhone with the hook: “turns out i was BAAAD at guessing… (I use HealthMeter)” The product gets its own slide within the advice list, with the recommendation, app name and tracking screen shown together. Quizlet Quizlet had another 1.6M-view hit from @wendylikestostudy, this time the hook is related to college habits rather than the usual relationship hook: “6 Addictions you MUST quit in college” She talks directly to the camera, adding images as she goes through each point. If you’re looking for a great talking-list format to copy here it is. Howbout Howbout reached 1.2M views with a relationship-drama slideshow. “how did you know he was breaking up with you?” The next slide shows a packed shared calendar with: “he put it in our shared calendar..” The trick here is that the breakup entry is unclear among dozens of events. Viewers are asking what they’re supposed to be looking for, which boots engagement. Stompers Stompers reached 1.5M views from @jocelynwalking with a walking video selfie and a long hook followed by a product demo. “when you’re on your 4th walk of the day bc your friends thought it’d be a good idea to start a weekly step competition where loser buys coffee on Monday ?” The video then cuts to her step count and the friends she’s trying to catch with: Viral pattern alert Workout clips are taking over storytelling content. Creators are using footage of themselves walking, running, doing pilates, or lifting weights as the background for stories that have nothing to do with fitness. The movement keeps people watching, the story keeps them hooked. Jump on this trend with DansUGC’s Gym & Workout package. Rotate different clips, test your hooks, and find your winning combo. Especially powerful for stories about relationships, personal growth, manifestation, and health. Cantina Cantina’s movie prank reached 1.1M views from @techwithliv7, this time using Avengers. “my boyfriend has never seen avengers so i added an extra clip ???” After several Twilight hits, the creator changes the film while keeping the prank structure consistent. Viewers can also watch the added AI scene and his reaction. Lingo Legend Lingo Legend reached 187K views posted one day ago with a silent reaction from the creator behind a long text overlay. “learning spanish is crazy bc wdym there’s two words for ‘love’…” The creator holds their head while the text jokes about accidentally starting a serious relationship or landing in the friend zone. Tethered Tethered reached 884K views with one of its missing-my-boyfriend hook. The creator sits reacting behind three lines of yellow text: “‘you okay?’ no. i miss my boyfriend.” The facial expression and the slow movement from the creator add to the feeling. Focustown Focustown reached 756K views with the random-flight selection format. The creator covers her eyes, spins a wheel that lands on a a flight to “a random flight. Then comes the perfect excuse to introduce the Pomodoro timer from the FocusTown app. The video gives an action to follow and a flight choice to wait for. Duolingo Duolingo reached 165K views with another full-screen text story. “My roommate lied on her resume…” The creator is just sitting behind the hook with a facial reaction. The text covers almost the entire screen, following a roommate who claims intermediate German after a 15-day Duolingo streak, then spends 48 hours doing lessons before a work call.
