NIH grant 1R50NS147973-01: Fortifying the neuroscience and broader scientific Python software ecosystems: MNE-Python and beyond
Institute: {'code': 'NS', 'abbreviation': 'NINDS', 'name': 'National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke', 'admin_org_id': '12500053', 'admin_funding_url': ''}. PI: Eric David Larson. Award: $200034.

Project Summary
Over the last 10 years Eric Larson has worked on developing open-source software tools for neuroscience.
During that time, he has become a core contributor and maintainer of several important packages in the scientific
python ecosystem. This award supports his ongoing efforts to work on ensuring these software tools are findable,
accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR). This includes supporting related open-source software packages
specific to neuroscience such as MNE-Python, MNE-BIDS-Pipeline, MNE-NIRS, etc., but also packages in the
broader scientific Python ecosystem such as SciPy and sphinx-gallery.
