Oracle Financial Services Q1 Results: Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) rose 5% on Thursday after the company reported a 121% year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit to ₹1,416 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with the corresponding period last year. On a sequential basis, profit rose 68% from ₹842 crore in the March quarter.
Revenue from operations surged 69% year-on-year to ₹3,125 crore during the quarter. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose to ₹1,862 crore from ₹1,050 crore in the previous quarter, while the operating margin expanded to 59.6% from 50.83%, indicating that revenue growth significantly outpaced the rise in costs.
The sharp increase in revenue was largely driven by a one-time agreement with an existing customer for the licensing of software products, transfer of personnel, and transition services. The transaction resulted in the recognition of ₹935.3 crore in licence revenue and ₹19.1 crore in other income during the quarter.
Oracle Financial Services Software's operating income more than doubled to ₹1,861 crore in the June quarter, reflecting strong execution across its business segments. The products business remained the primary growth driver, with revenue rising 75% year-on-year to ₹2,936 crore, while revenue from the services business increased 6% to ₹189 crore.
The management described the quarter as a historic milestone, highlighting the landmark agreement with a leading global bank alongside a broad pipeline of customer wins across geographies. It said these deals reflected the continued strength of the company's business and market momentum.
According to the management, the company's AI-first strategy and ongoing product modernisation have strengthened its offerings, enabling financial institutions to address critical business needs with cloud- and AI-enabled solutions. It added that the company delivered robust operating performance during the quarter, with all key operating metrics remaining healthy, while continuing to focus on providing customers with flexible deployment options and technology solutions that enhance their competitive position.
The IT stock jumped 5% to its day's high of ₹11,394.75 per share on BSE. However, it later pared gains to fall around 7% from day's high to its intra-day low of ₹10,602.00.
It hit its 52-week high of ₹11,986.90, earlier this month on July 17,2026, and its 52-week low of ₹6,232.20 in March 2026. The stock has gained over 8% in 1 month, 21.5% in 3 months, 34% in 6 months, and 22% in the last 1 year.
Oracle Financial Services Software (OFSS) – Profit Booking Strategy
BOOK PROFITS | Fresh Buying Only Above ₹11,400
According to Jigar S Patel, Senior Manager - Technical Research Analyst, Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Limited, Oracle Financial Services Software has delivered a strong rally over the past few months, but the recent price action indicates that bullish momentum is losing steam.
“The stock has formed a sharp rejection from the ₹11,800–12,000 zone, suggesting increased selling pressure near higher levels. The MACD histogram has turned negative, signalling weakening momentum, while the RSI has slipped to around 50, reflecting fading buying strength. Additionally, the DMI shows -DI above +DI, indicating that sellers have gained the upper hand in the short term, even though the ADX remains above 25, suggesting the prevailing trend is still strong. Considering the extended rally and emerging signs of exhaustion, existing investors are advised to book profits and wait for a fresh bullish setup before considering new positions. A decisive breakout above ₹11,400 with strong volumes would improve the outlook again,” he added.
