Scooby’s Club, a network of premium dog care hubs in residential neighbourhoods, has raised $250K in a pre-seed funding round led by TDV Partners. The Bengaluru-based startup will use the funds to expand to two new properties across Bengaluru over the next 6-12 months, along with hiring and training canine coaches to deliver an expert-led experience. Co-founded in 2025 by Animeha Singh and Ankit Guota, Scooby’s Club is a pet care startup that provides professionally managed neighbourhood daycare and overnight boarding services for dogs. It focuses on high-standard short-term and overnight pet care for working professionals and modern pet parents. According to the company, its model combines canine behavioural principles with purpose-built indoor spaces in residential neighbourhoods. Every dog undergoes temperament testing and is grouped by size, enabling safer, lower-stress socialisation. The fully indoor and climate-controlled spaces use sound, scent and colour elements to provide mental enrichment. The company also offers allergen-sensitive care, personalised attention and 24x7 CCTV access, giving pet parents visibility into their dog’s experience. Scooby’s Club aims to build a network of 100 properties across major Indian cities, using its neighbourhood-led model to bring care closer to where pet parents live. India’s pet care market is estimated at Rs 6,000 crore and is growing at around 20% CAGR, while pet ownership is growing at around 5% year-on-year, according to market research cited by the company. The organised pet care segment has also attracted investor interest. Vetic raised $40 million in June to expand its clinic network, while Supertails secured $30 million in February 2026 to scale veterinary clinics, at-home care and rapid delivery services. Premium D2C pet care brand Moe Puppy also raised Rs 2 crore in pre-seed funding in March.
