Enterprise tech company Data Science Wizards (DSW) has raised $5 million in a pre-Series A funding round from angel investors. Previously, the Mumbai-based startup had secured $1.4 million in a seed funding round at a valuation of $16.4 million in October 2024, led by an angel investor. The proceeds will be used to accelerate product innovation, expand its North American operations, strengthen its engineering and customer success teams, deepen strategic partnerships, and scale the adoption of UnifyAI OS across enterprises and regulated industries, DSW said in a press release. Founded in 2019 by Pritesh Surendra Tiwari, Sandhya Oza, Sandeep Khuperkar, and Shivam Thakkar, Data Science Wizards has developed UnifyAI OS, an enterprise AI operating system that enables organizations to build, integrate, deploy, govern, monitor, and operate AI and agentic AI through a unified operating layer. Designed for enterprises and regulated industries, UnifyAI OS enables organizations to operationalize AI while maintaining ownership, governance, interoperability, security, and long-term control over their AI ecosystem. Operating AI securely across business functions while maintaining governance, interoperability, compliance, and enterprise control remains one of the biggest challenges for large organizations. DSW aims to address this challenge through UnifyAI OS, which provides a unified operating layer for building, integrating, deploying, governing, monitoring, and operating AI and agentic AI applications. DSW currently serves enterprises across the banking, financial services, insurance, and public sectors. It competes with companies such as Palantir, Dataiku, DataRobot, H2O.ai, C3 AI, and SAS Viya.
