Fintech company AvenuesAI’s (formerly Infibeam Avenues) consolidated net profit for the June quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY27) surged 45% to ₹84.8 Cr from ₹58.4 Cr in the year-ago period. On a sequential basis, net profit decreased by about 5% from ₹89 Cr. Operating revenue zoomed by 109% YoY and 8% QoQ to ₹2,680.4 Cr. Including other income of ₹28.4 Cr, total income for the quarter under review stood at ₹2,708.8 Cr. Meanwhile, total expenses during the quarter also more than doubled YoY to ₹2,624 Cr. On a sequential basis, the company’s expenses grew by 8% from ₹2,428.8 Cr. During the quarter, its EBITDA excluding other income stood at ₹100 Cr, up 41% YoY. A bulk of its revenue during the quarter was derived from its payments business, which generated ₹2,625.9 Cr in Q1, more than double YoY from ₹1,226.5 Cr. Meanwhile, its ecommerce platform business contributed ₹54.5 Cr, which was broadly flat YoY. In June last year, the company had raised ₹700 Cr through a rights issue, primarily for the repayment of outstanding loans, expansion of its IPO-bound digital content and ecommerce marketplace Rediff and further investments in its AI arm, Nueromind Technologies. AvenuesAI disclosed that out of the total issue raised, ₹367.2 Cr continued to remain unutilised. It had allocated around ₹240 Cr from the rights issue to be invested in Nueromind, however, only ₹9.44 Cr had been utilised as of June 30, 2026. Nueromind To Merge With AvenuesAI In its board meeting today, AvenuesAI's board approved the draft scheme of amalgamation of Nueromind, its wholly owned AI subsidiary, within itself. The amalgamation is subject to NCLT approval. The company recently acquired the remaining 9.9% equity stake in Nueromind from its existing shareholder, making Nueromind a wholly owned subsidiary. For context, Nueromind is the parent company of AvenuesAI’s AI arm Phronetic AI, which builds AI-based software solutions. These solutions include platforms which can help in video creation, detect financial frauds, identify and authenticate risks along with advanced AI and reasoning technologies. The amalgamation will allow AvenuesAI a greater control over the subsidiary’s AI talent, intellectual property and tech development. The firm is targeting an accelerated deployment and commercialisation of its AI offerings across payments, digital commerce and enterprise businesses. Important to note that AvenuesAI had diluted its stake in Nueromind Technologies to 90% in February last year, after it allotted fresh equity shares to other investors. AvenuesAI Outlines Strategic Priorities Apart from announcing its financial statements, AvenuesAI also outlined its other strategic priorities for the ongoing fiscal year. The company expects its FY27 top line to be in the range of ₹11,000–13,000 Cr. In comparison, its consolidated revenue in FY26 stood at ₹8,115.9 Cr. In line with this, the company would be looking to revamp its content-focused subsidiary Rediff’s capabilities with the goal of expanding its services across content, consumer payments and enterprise services. It is also planning to combine Rediff’s existing consumer and enterprise offerings with the core business’ capabilities in payments, AI and digital commerce to achieve this. AvenuesAI also wants to connect its merchant payments and AI capabilities with Rediff’s existing capabilities to create new products, improve engagement and develop additional monetisation opportunities. “The strategy is therefore not simply to grow Rediff's existing businesses, but to unlock the value of the broader Rediff ecosystem by connecting users, businesses, payments and digital services,” the company said in a statement. Notably, Rediff received SEBI approval earlier this month to launch its IPO. It had filed draft papers via the confidential route in April to raise between ₹600 Cr to ₹800 Cr. Going forward, the company will expand the geographic reach of its core payments business CCAvenue, which will focus on the US as a key strategic market. International payments will leverage CCAvenue’s existing capabilities in digital transactions, enterprise payments and payment infrastructure to establish a meaningful and scalable presence in the US, it said. The company is also planning to develop a proprietary AI intelligence layer, AvenuesAI Transaction Intelligence Score (TISco). TISco will act as an intelligence layer that continuously analyses permitted signals from transaction behaviour, merchant activity, payment patterns, settlement history, customer behaviour and other relevant data to generate a dynamic assessment of transaction quality, merchant reliability and business behaviour. This will generate granular data about how digital business transactions behave in real time, which could be helpful for identifying transaction risk, fraud detection, merchant assessment, business intelligence, credit and financial-product distribution. Shares of AvenuesAI ended today’s training session 6.32% lower at ₹16.44.
