Deep-tech electric mobility startup E3 Electric.Ai has raised Rs 100 crore ($10.5 million) in a Series A funding round through a combination of equity and debt, led by BluVenture Holdings. The funding comes ahead of the commercial launch of the company's E3 TRION. The fresh funds will be deployed to accelerate product innovation and expand E3's market presence across India, the company said in a press release. Founded in 2024 by P. Sanjeev, E3 Electric.Ai is a deep-tech electric mobility company building intelligent electric scooters with AI at their core, a modular future-ready architecture, and a human-centric design approach. The company aims to enable clean, intelligent, and accessible mobility for all. Its two-wheelers are designed to meet the evolving mobility needs of family commuters. The Bengaluru-based startup's proprietary innovations span AI-enabled safety systems, predictive diagnostics, connected vehicle technologies, modular powertrain architecture, and battery intelligence. E3 aims to drive the next phase of mobility, where software continuously improves vehicle safety, reliability, charging, and the overall ownership experience through AI. E3 Electric.Ai focuses on democratizing intelligent mobility for India's mass market. Positioned as an alternative to the popular 110cc scooter segment, its AI-powered electric two-wheelers emphasize affordability, reliability, and a lower cost of ownership. By addressing key challenges such as safety, service, charging, and resale, E3 Electric.Ai aims to make smart, connected mobility more accessible in India. The company seeks to advance electric mobility through scooters that are intelligent, reliable, affordable, safe, and sustainable, while offering riders greater freedom, seamless connectivity, and a superior riding experience. It competes with major players in the segment, including TVS, Ola Electric, Ather Energy, and Bajaj Auto.
