Consumer appliance startup Atomberg Technologies has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its initial public offering (IPO). The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 450 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 7.65 crore shares. Last week, Entrackr exclusively reported that Atomberg was planning to raise Rs 450 crore through a fresh issue as part of its IPO. A91 Partners will sell the largest chunk of 3.77 crore shares, followed by Temasek-backed V-Sciences Investments with 1.22 crore shares and Jungle Ventures through JV4 with 99.46 lakh shares. Inflexur Ventures, through Inflexor Opportunities Fund I and Inflexor Technology Fund, will offload 87.9 lakh shares. Steadview Capital Mauritius and Survam Partners will sell 45.38 lakh and 33.18 lakh shares, respectively. Atomberg plans to use Rs 90 crore from the fresh issue to repay or prepay certain borrowings. Another Rs 150 crore will be used for brand awareness and performance marketing, while Rs 100 crore has been earmarked for research and development. The remaining proceeds will be deployed towards general corporate purposes. Founded by Manoj Meena in 2012, Atomberg was joined by Sibabrata Das as co-founder in 2013. The company makes consumer appliances and components, with products spanning ceiling fans, mixer grinders, water purifiers, juicers and smart locks. Its subsidiary Atomberg Innovations supplies motors and controllers to Voltas, Godrej and Blue Star. As of the DRHP date, A91 Partners is the largest shareholder in Atomberg with a 21.02% stake, followed by co-founder Manoj Kumar Meena with 17.73%. Steadview Capital, Temasek-backed Jonsong Investments and Inflexor Ventures hold 7%, 6.98% and 6.08%, respectively. On the financial front, Atomberg reported a 34.8% year-on-year growth in revenue from operations to Rs 1,293.77 crore in FY26 from Rs 959.51 crore in FY25. However, its adjusted EBITDA declined to Rs 37.12 crore from Rs 51.35 crore during the same period. The company's restated loss stood at Rs 148.88 crore in FY26. The company has built a strong presence in the premium fans segment, where it held a 46.08% market share by cumulative sales value in FY26, according to the Redseer report cited in the DRHP. It had around 626 distributors and direct dealers and 46,932 retail touchpoints across nearly 1,600 cities and towns as of March 2026. ICICI Securities, Avendus Capital and IIFL Capital Services are the book-running lead managers, while MUFG Intime is the registrar to the issue.
