Yaanendriya, a Bengaluru-based deep tech company building indigenous sensor, navigation, and control technologies for mobile robots and critical applications, has raised Rs 15 crore in a seed funding round led by Piper Serica. The fresh funds will be used to strengthen research and development, accelerate product development, and expand its portfolio of high precision navigation systems for mission critical environments, Yaanendriya said in a press release. Co-founded in February last year by Vamshi Bharadwaj M V, Vyshak Y, Vijay HP, and Aravind Thumbur, Yaanendriya develops indigenous sensor, navigation, and control technologies for robotics, aerospace, and other critical applications. Its portfolio includes the SynCore series of navigation controllers for autonomous robotic platforms and the YDX series of high precision inertial sensors deployed across commercial applications globally. The company is also developing navigation systems and a hardware agnostic platform for space and other critical missions, along with high precision MEMS inertial sensors for the NewSpace sector. Yaanendriya builds sensor and control platforms that enable autonomous systems, including drones, ground robots, spacecraft, and underwater vehicles, to sense motion, estimate their state, and maintain control in environments where GNSS is unavailable, unreliable, or intentionally disrupted. Its SynCore navigation controllers combine inputs from multiple sensors to estimate orientation, position, and velocity while supporting real time stabilization and control. The platform is deployed by robotics companies across aerial, ground, and underwater applications in sectors such as defence, surveillance, and agriculture. The company's YDX series of high precision inertial sensors is deployed across four continents in applications including motion capture for gaming, unmanned vehicles, and surgical robots.
