CodeRabbit is joining Cursor Origin’s app marketplace as a launch partner, bringing independent validation to pull requests hosted natively on Origin so teams can ship agent-written code with confidence. Developers already use CodeRabbit to review local changes in Cursor through its IDE extension. On Origin, that review extends to the team’s pull request workflow. CodeRabbit independently assesses each change and gives teammates findings and context to evaluate before deciding what merges. Build trust through independent validation When a developer or an agent opens a pull request in a connected native Origin repository, CodeRabbit reviews the change the same way, posting a walkthrough and inline findings beside the relevant code. In the example below, a cart-total function sums each item’s unit price but ignores its quantity. CodeRabbit flags the calculation and explains the problem: three items priced at 1,250 cents each should contribute 3,750 cents to the total. That gives teammates concrete context to evaluate whether the calculation accurately reflects quantity changes across purchased items. By flagging the issue alongside the affected line, CodeRabbit surfaces the underlying business logic so engineers can review it directly. Keep your team in control of review decisions Authors can reply to CodeRabbit in a finding’s thread to ask for an explanation, investigate related code, or provide additional context. We asked @coderabbitai to show the corrected calculation and explain what happens for three items and an empty cart. CodeRabbit responds directly in the thread, providing updated code and detailing both scenarios. Because the conversation remains linked to the finding, team members can review the logic behind any suggested fix and step in if unique codebase details need further attention. The author can then make the change directly or ask their coding agent to help implement it. Follow the fix through review After the author pushes a correction, CodeRabbit validates the updated code. In this scenario, factoring item quantity into the overall price calculation resolved the issue, allowing CodeRabbit to post a passing review check on the updated commit. The review and discussion stay attached to the PR, so teammates can see what CodeRabbit found and how the author addressed it. That shared record offers independent validation alongside automated testing and peer feedback, keeping your team in control of review decisions. Get started with CodeRabbit on Origin A workspace admin can start at CodeRabbit’s Origin setup: - Sign in to CodeRabbit and select the workspace that will own the connection. - Connect your Origin namespace and approve access to the native Origin repositories you want reviewed. - Confirm that PR authors have review access, then open a pull request on a connected repository. An eligible CodeRabbit Review plan or trial is required, and access is managed through your CodeRabbit workspace. Cursor Origin is gradually rolling out in early beta to users on all paid Cursor plans. The integration is currently available in CodeRabbit’s US region. CodeRabbit’s Origin integration reviews pull requests in repositories hosted natively on Cursor Origin. For GitHub repositories synced into Origin, continue using CodeRabbit’s GitHub integration. Connect CodeRabbit to Origin and give your team an independent assessment of its next native Origin pull request, while keeping final merge authority entirely in your team’s hands.
