Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, expects a strong start to FY27, with revenue likely to grow around 30% year-on-year in the first quarter, led by good demand across its brands and continued momentum in offline channels.
In a quarterly business update released on Thursday, the company said its reported revenue growth is expected to be in the mid-twenties after adjusting for a change in revenue recognition related to the Flipkart group. The company clarified that the adjustment is linked to changes in settlement practices for marketplace sellers.
Honasa's flagship brand, Mamaearth, is expected to post high-teen year-on-year growth during the quarter. The company attributed the performance to improving consumer demand and stronger offline distribution.
Its younger brands, including The Derma Co., Aqualogica, BBlunt, Dr. Sheth's, Staze, Lumineve and Reginald Men are expected to continue their strong run, with growth projected in the early forties.
The offline business remained the key growth driver during the quarter, supported by stronger general trade distribution, better in-store execution across modern trade, and expanding direct reach. The online channel is also expected to record healthy growth, according to the company.
On profitability, Honasa said it expects to maintain a double-digit operating margin in Q1 FY27, aided by operating leverage as the business scales.
The company noted that the update is provisional and does not constitute its financial results or formal earnings guidance. Detailed financial results will be announced after the board approves the company's Q1 FY27 financial statements.
Honasa's shares were trading at Rs 467.25 at 10:03 AM on Thursday, giving the company a market capitalisation of around Rs 15,250 crore.
