The company had posted a net profit of Rs 495 crore in the September quarter of the preceding financial year. In a regulatory filing, SBI Life said its net premium income grew 8.17 per cent to Rs 26,877 crore during the second quarter of FY27, from Rs 24,848 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. Shares of SBI Life closed at Rs 1,634.65 apiece, down 0.45 per cent, on the BSE.
